About This DVD
After taking an extended rest of 3 and 2 years respectively, Han Suk-kyu and
Ko So-young return to the silver screen in the riveting spy thriller "Double
Agent"! Han Suk-kyu portrays Lim Byung-ho a North Korean agent stationed in East
Germany who seemingly betrays his own department in order to convert to the
South Korean party. After a narrow escape through Checkpoint Charlie, Byung-ho
is picked-up by South Korean agents that appear to welcome his decision to flee
from the North Korean regime. However, he soon finds out that they were merely
faking and want to beat the truth out of him as he is taken to Seoul's Namsan
Mountain that is known for its brutal investigation methods with electric wires
and water. Byung-ho is finally set free only to reveal that he works for North
Korea after all and continues his spying mission during which he has to team-up
with Yoon Soo-mi (Ko So-young). Using a romantic affair as cover for their
espionage, the two isolated individuals begin to form real affection for each
other...
