About This DVD

People can be so difficult to read from the outside as Takuro Yamashita, a regular white collar worker, discovers when he finds his wife in bed with another man.

In a fit of blind rage he stabs her to death before proceeding, covered in her blood, to the local police station where he turns himself in. While festering in jail for eight years. he befriends an eel, the one living creature he speaks to.

Released on parole he opens a barbers shop and brings his trusty companion. After saving the life of a young woman who comes to work in his shop, he warms to her and mutual attraction is generated. All is well until his criminal record is rustled up an suddenly Yamashita is boxed in again, but this time by mistakes from his past.
