About This DVD
The maids get their day in the 2011 KBS drama Romance Town. Sung Yu Ri (Swallow
the Sun) stars as spunky domestic helper Soon Geum whose life is forever changed
when she hits the lottery. She has to keep her windfall away from her
irresponsible father, so she stays on at the job and keeps her newfound wealth a
secret from the residents of her ritzy neighborhood, including her maid friends
and her boss's irritable, disagreeable son Gun Woo (Jung Gyu Woon, Doctor
Champ).
Gun Woo is rich in name but broke in reality, forced to work at his father's
company for middling pay. Soon Geum is poor in name but rich in reality, with
boxes and boxes of cash stashed away. It's chaos all around when the two fall
for each other, as lies grow, secrets spill, and the entire neighborhood gets
flipped on its head. Kim Min Joon (Damo), Min Hyo Rin (Triple), Yang Jung Ah
(The Man Who Can't Get Married), and Jo Sung Ha (Sungkyunkwan Scandal) also
co-star in this fresh romantic comedy about how a little lottery ticket changes
hands and changes the tides of all the maids and masters of First Avenue!
