About This DVD
From the acclaimed director of the global hit Old Boy comes a shockingly
original vampire story with a chilling, erotic style. A blood transfusion saves
the life of a priest, but also transforms him into a vampire. He struggles to
control his insatiable thirst for blood until a love affair unleashes his
darkest desires in deadly new ways. Hailed as "Daring, operatic, and bloody
funny!" (Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly), Thirst is a truly wicked love
story that takes classic vampire lore to twisted new heights.
Director Chan-wook Park moves on from his legendary "Vengeance Trilogy" to tell
this blood and sex-filled tale of a priest who is healed from death by vampire
blood and goes on to start a blazing-hot, vampire-on-human affair with his old
friend's hot young wife. Hot Korean beauty Ok-vin Kim plays the wife who gets
into all kinds of crazy realistic sex and shows off her scrumptious sacks and
hot ass over and over again. Hot nudity, buckets of crimson red gore and much
more.
Sang-hyun, a small town beloved and admired priest who serves devotedly at a
hospital, volunteers for the new infectious disease, F.I.V.’s, vaccine
development experiment and goes to Africa. The experiment fails and Sang-hyun
gets infected by F.I.V. but he ends up being miraculously cured and returns
home. News of Sang-hyun’s cure from F.I.V. spreads and people start believing he
has the gift of healing and flock to receive his prayers. From those who come to
him, Sang-yun meets a childhood friend named Kang-woo and his wife Tae-ju. Sang-hyun
is immediately drawn to Tae-ju.
One day, Sang-hyun coughs up blood, dies, and comes back to life the next day as
a vampire. Tae-ju gets attracted to Sang-hyun, turned vampire, and they have a
secret love affair. Sang-hyun asks Tae-ju to run away with him but she turns him
down. Instead, they plot to kill Kang-woo...
