About This Book
The book depicts the life and work of artist Jang Wook-jin, who made a mark in the history of Korean art by establishing a unique world of art. It was published in 2004 as a revised edition, with edits, illustrations, and captions reinforced to the book published in the first edition in 1997. Painter Jang's life from the third grade of Gyeongseong Normal School, which showed off its fire with a magpie painting submitted to the "All-Japan Small Student Beauty Exhibition," until his death at the age of 74, is in harmony with his work.
This book follows the trajectory of Jang Wook-jin's life and changes in the art space.
