About This Book

Writer Choi In Ho was a Catholic in the early 1990¡¯s, but he was influenced by the teachings of Buddhism and he went all over the country to find the traces of Zen monk. His first subject was the monk Kyung Heo, who created the sensation of Buddhism recently with his teachings and enlightenment that were difficult to approach. Choi In Ho had gone on a path of enlightenment after turning to Catholicism, and the footsteps of the Buddhist monks, especially monk Kyung Heo, was a clear sign of understanding. Choi In Ho was praised by all of the mass media and his readers for his steady-seller ¡®Road Without a Road¡¯, which sold 1,500,000 copies in 15 years and revealed the key factors of Buddhism. Since 2012 is the 100th anniversary of nirvana of monk Kyung Heo, he reconnected the connections monk Kyung Heo made with his three students. And a year later in 2013, he picked out the story of monk Kyung Heo and his three students separately from ¡®Road Without a Road¡¯, reconfigured it, and put it out to the world. ¡®Hal¡¯ is a long story of the great monks who walked the roads without a road.
