About This DVD
The White Tigers Clan is back! After selling over five million tickets and
sealing its status as one of the most successful Korean comedies of all time,
the Marrying The Mafia franchise returns with its third installment, entitled
Marrying the Mafia 3: Rebirth of the Family. After prosecutor Jin Kyung (Kim Won
Hee of Marrying the Mafia 2 and Oh Lala Sisters) married with boss In Jae (Shin
Hyun Jun of Guns & Talks and Stairway to Heaven), the destiny of the family
moved away from organized crime to - guess what? - homemade kimchi! Big boss
Mrs. Hong (Kim Soo Mi of Marrying the Mafia 2) has finally found a decent way to
live, when suddenly Myung Pil (Gong Hyung Jin of Alone in Love), a jealous
prosecutor who can't see his colleague partake with such people, tries his best
to put In Jae and company in trouble.
The clan from the second film is back, including Kim Soo Mi, Shin Hyun Jun, Kim
Won Hee, and Tak Jae Hoon, for another dose of high-octane comedy and tons of
pop culture references. Director Jung Yong Ki debuted in the industry in the
late 90s, working as assistant director for Bae Chang Ho in 1999's My Heart and
writing the script of the 2000 wuxia Bichunmoo. After the 2004 horror The
Dollmaster, he finally found success with the second installment of the Marrying
the Mafia saga, and he has continued the success with the franchise's third film
selling close to three million tickets at the box office.
