About This DVD

A fatal car crash has forever separated an engaged young Japanese couple. Hitomi Takako Tokiwa mourns deeply day and night for the death of her fiance Tatsuya (Leslie Cheung). Their dream of moving to Hong Kong after their marriage and residing at the Peak to overlook the spectacular night scenery of the harbor is all shattered now. Right after Tatsuya's funeral, Hitomi travels to Hong Kong broken-heartedly with a wish to fulfill a dream that should have been shared with her love.

What a surprise in her visit to Hong Kong that she bumps into Shek Ka Po (Leslie Cheung), a local undercover cop. Hitomi is confused by the strong resemblance between Bo and her late fiance and follows him. When Bo learns the whole tragedy by this Japanese girl, he takes her to the Peak yet both are disappointed by the bad fogs cast over the "Pearl of the Orient".

Bo is put in danger when he is betrayed by a colleague on his team. He has no choice but to flee to China with Hitomi. The two fugitives fall for each other in this life-and-death journey. They manage to sneak back to Hong Kong because Bo is determined to find out who and why he has been framed...
