About This DVD
Sol Kyung Gu has his work cut out for him in the crime blockbuster
Troubleshooter. The acclaimed actor plays private eye Tae Sik, who is hired to
snap photos of a couple at a love motel. It seems like just another job until he
walks in on a corpse. He flees the crime scene, leading the police to suspect
him to be the killer! A mysterious caller (Lee Jung Jin, Once Upon a Time in
High School) who knows Tae Sik's every move offers to clear his name - if he
helps pull off a kidnapping job. Tae Sik is in for a crazy ride as he dodges the
police and races to find out exactly who set him up.
Troubleshooter is the first feature from Kwon Hyeok Jae, who previously assisted
on the action flicks The City of Violence and Dachimawa Lee. His past experience
comes into good use in Troubleshooter, which offers a full package of fast-paced
action and cat-and-mouse suspense, not to mention flippant humor and wiretapping
gadgetry. Ryoo Seung Wan returns the favor for his former assistant director by
co-writing Troubleshooter.
