Q1. My Order Status / Shipping Status has not updated.

Hanbooks operates by placing orders in Korea first and then importing the books to the United States.

Because of this process, there is a handling period of approximately 5–10 business days before shipping begins. Many customers understandably confuse this with shipping time, but this refers only to the preparation/handling period before shipment begins.

Your Order Status and Shipping Status will update once the handling period is completed and the package has been shipped.

Q2. How long does shipping take?

Handling Time: Approximately 5–10 business days
Shipping Time: Approximately 3–6 business days depending on USPS and local delivery conditions

All books are sourced from Korea after the order is placed.

Q3. Where do the books come from?

Once an order is placed, the books are sourced from Korea and then shipped within the United States.

Q4. I entered the wrong shipping address.

Before shipment:
Please email us as soon as possible. Our staff can manually update the address before the package ships.

After shipment:
If the package has already been shipped:

• A refund excluding the original shipping fee may be issued
• Additional reshipping and return shipping fees may apply

In many cases, due to the complexity of the process, we usually proceed with cancellation/refund instead.

Q5. I live nearby. Can I pick up my order?

Yes, local pickup is available. However, you must request it separately so we can remove the shipping fee.

The best way is to leave a note after placing the order or send us an email with your Order Number and pickup request.

Q6. I cannot find the book I am looking for.

Please send us a Book Request by email and we will check availability for you.

Q7. Can I order out-of-stock or discontinued books?

Inventory status is updated manually, so real-time stock availability may not always be accurate.

We usually confirm availability after an order is placed. If a book is out of stock or discontinued, the order may be canceled.

We are continuously working to update inventory information as accurately as possible.

Q8. Do you sell English books?

Most books sold on Hanbooks are Korean-language books.

Only books specifically labeled as “ENG” or “English Version” in the product description are English editions.

Q9. Is there a Korean-translated version of a book?

Q10. What is your return/exchange policy?

Returns may be requested within 7 days after receiving your order.

For returns due to change of mind or incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, the original shipping fee will not be refunded.

Due to the nature of international shipping, exchanges are generally not available.

Q11. Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, international shipping is available to select countries and regions.

However, international orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Q12. Do you offer magazine subscriptions?

Magazine subscriptions are available within the United States.

However, international magazine subscriptions are currently unavailable due to overseas shipping costs and delivery limitations.

Single-issue magazine purchases are still available for both domestic and international customers.

Q13. Can discounts or coupons be applied to magazines?

Magazines are not eligible for discounts or coupon promotions.

However, due to system limitations, regular coupons may sometimes still apply to magazine orders during checkout. In those cases, we may contact you by email and cancel the order accordingly.

Q14. Do you offer Next Day Shipping?

No, we currently do not offer Next Day Shipping.

Due to the nature of the U.S. shipping system, even expedited shipping services do not always guarantee next-day delivery. Because of this, we do not provide this option.
