About This Book
The early Joseon period, during which a tradition that had lasted for over a thousand years began to shift toward a Confucian-centered society, is examined.
In the "Outdoor Exhibition" section, we look at the sky of Joseon, the land of Joseon, the culture of Joseon, and a Joseon moving toward a new tradition.
In "Exhibition Part 1", located in the Joseon Hall and the Special Exhibition Hall, we discover the true nature of Joseon's Confucian spirit through a flexible rural Joseon centered around 16th-century farmers and Jongmyo, a symbol of the Confucian society of Joseon.
In "Exhibition Part 2", we can see the level of astronomical science and the diverse aspects of Joseon, and we explore Hunminjeongeum and the language life of Joseon, as well as the unique and scientific script Hangeul and writing systems of the world.
All contents of the book are written in English.
