About This Book
Today marks the 29th day since I was placed in solitary confinement at Busan Jurye Detention Center, and it is Chuseok. Before I die, I felt compelled to record the wondrous and astonishing works through which God spoke to me directly and guided my life. God spoke to me, a sinner, twelve times directly, and through thirteen dreams and visions He showed me things that were yet to come. I proclaimed only what I was told, and God fulfilled it exactly as spoken. Countless miracles and answers to prayer became the motivation for me to experience the living God. Because of this, I feared no one and was always able to stand boldly.
While serving in the special forces, I kept the Lord’s Day, evangelized my entire platoon, and at dawn went to the commanding officer’s residence to share the gospel. I was not afraid even of death. God was always with me. I had never encountered such a God in any book I had ever read. Though I belong to the most conservative Kosin denomination, God showed me the most astonishing and mysterious powers. I have led countless revival meetings, yet I have rarely used other people’s testimonies as examples, because nothing moved hearts more deeply than the miracles God gave to me. I repeatedly shared my testimony in church, and each time it was deeply moving.
I was appointed to the World Mission Church when it had only 20–30 members, in a place with hardly any residents, yet thousands were evangelized, and it became the World Mission Church of today. Every five years, a new main sanctuary was built, reaching the fifth one. All of this was done by the living God. This book itself is the evidence. That is why I wanted so much to leave it in written form.
In the first part, I recorded the miracle that occurred during my high school years, describing the events exactly as they happened. I wrote this so that young people might know that God can accomplish great works through them as well. This book is written in chronological order. Because I am in prison and have no reference materials, I cannot provide exact years or dates, so I have described them approximately.
All of the proceeds from my previous book, Pastor, Evangelism Is So Easy, were used entirely for cataract and other eye surgeries for the elderly, enabling about 9,000 people to receive free operations. All of the proceeds from this newly published book will be used for the benefit of young people. God uses anyone. That is God’s grace and mercy.
During the five days of the Chuseok holiday at Busan Jurye Detention Center, I recorded the events in which God answered my prayers. Through this book, I want to give glory to God alone.
